We are being called on more than ever since the book was published to share what it takes to be a DDO. From the CNO of the Navy, to the Head of the Air Force, to almost every F1000 organization, creating a developmental culture is at the heart of what they are trying to accomplish. In WORK 3.0, all HR software needs to upgrade. Next Jump has built the technology for our own use and is now sharing it with other companies to help them upgrade their systems (feedback, recognition, hiring, evals, etc.)
This year, we introduced an exciting new program called the Teaching Innovation Challenge into our Adopt-A-School program. The intent of the program is to support teachers and help enable them to bring their teaching to the next level. Teachers and co-teaching pairs developed new curriculum, tried experiments, and generally had a go at raising their own standards and adding innovations to their schools.
Would you mind if your employees showed up drunk to work every day? It’s such an absurd question it’s almost laughable. Of course you would! However, that’s exactly what we are getting if we don’t help our employees get a good night’s sleep every night.
